The first monograph by Maurizio Camatta, an informal painter with solid training. Treviso by adoption, well rooted in contemporaneity, his works are distinguished by an informal expressionism full of tensions and suggestions. Dynamism of forms, volumetric and sign games, tonal contrasts, bright chromaticisms, compose an overall vision, with experiments, even extreme, in the relationships between space, light and colour. Maurizio Camatta communicates, through the language of material abstraction, uncontrollable natural events, and interprets an instinctive gesture, even if expertly controlled.
