It is the catalog of the exhibition of the same name, which is held from 14 November to 13 December at the Palazzo della Ragione in Verona. The exhibition and the catalogue, both curated by Paolo Levi and Mario Guderzo, celebrate the centenary of the birth of Aldo Tavella, an artist trained at the historic Cignaroli Academy of Fine Arts in Verona, of which he later served as teacher and director. Linked to the great Venetian pictorial tradition with a particular predilection for oil painting and frescoes, Tavella has never abandoned that component linked to the Italian twentieth-century tradition. His works are present in important museum institutions. Present in many public and private collections as well as in the most important Italian and international art events, his artistic activity is marked by a succession of prestigious awards. Among his favorite techniques: oil on various supports (canvas, board, cardboard, plywood and jute), fresco, collage, pastel, ink; graphics, drypoint. A great catalog for a great twentieth century artist An absolute mastery of techniques: oils, frescoes, collage, pastels, ink, drypoint Over one hundred color images, works starting from 1926.
